How are the flowers made?
Rubber Flowers Leaves are handpicked from rubber trees, and taken to a local river where they are then submerged for a certain period.
The next stage involves washing until the skin of the leaves peels off, leaving only fragile skeleton leaves
which can be used to make flowers. The leaves are then distributed to many villages in Pang-nga to make flowers
of different designs. A secret technique is used to give the flowers their beautiful colour.
No machines are used in the making of these flowers, only the extraordinary skill of the local people
of Pang-Nga.
Sola Flowers The sola tree grows naturally in swamps. We then send boats out to pick the trees, which can grow to around 200cm in length.
Once picked, the trees are left to dry naturally for 3 days. Following this, our workers carve flowers from the trees using simple apparatus such as knives.
The flowers are then sent to our warehouse, where the stems and leaves are attached to complete the designs.
Environmental Issue
Our products are completely environmentally friendly - something very important to many customers these days.
All of the natural materials that we use are 100% sustainable. Many of the materials such as "luffa" and our main
product "sola tree" grow in the wild, in fields, rivers & swamps, and have no use other than for the flowers that we produce.
In addition, no machines are used in the creation of these flowers, maintaining the natural atmosphere that we promote.
